royale is the first 007 movie that stars Daniel Craig as James Bond.
Despite some fans who didn't support Craig as the next 007, the public
gave their own opinion by opening their wallets.
The
movie is based on Ian Fleming's novel of the same name that was published
in 1953. The quote at the back of the book retells the famous
relationship between James Bond and the martini:
"'A
dry martini,' Bond said. 'In a deep champagne goblet. Three
measures of Gordons, one of Vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet.
Shake it very well until it's ice cold, then add a thin slice of lemon
peel. Got it?'"
"'Certainly,
monsieur.'"
This
quote shows Bond's very particular way of getting his drink, including the
description of the goblet. In Bond's world, it seems there are no
plastic glasses. :-)
