Crowe makes an attempt at being part of a
movie that is also a
comedy. He adds the serious scenes to this movie because no matter how
hard he may
try at comedy, he, first of all, is a serious, intense actor and he
shows this even in a film that is also a comedy.
In Mystery, Alaska,
there is a great scene of Crowe and his wife at the table where he is doing something on the
newspaper, that is, working on a word puzzle, and his wife wants to know
what he is writing on the newspaper. The wife does end up seeing the newspaper where he has indicated
and written, of his love for her. If
