 On
March 16, 2005, at Paris on the Strip
in Las Vegas, a huge banner
draping the replica of Arc De Triomphe advertised the kingdom of heaven
movie. On the right side of the banner is Orlando Bloom in
"fighting" mode. On the top of the banner are the words
saying, "From Director Ridley Scott." At the left side
of the banner is a profile of Bloom and his love interest looking at
each other intimately.
The banner showed that the movie opens
on May 6th. The banner worked. I stamped that date on my
mind because I wanted to go see this movie.
After viewing the trailer from the
official site, you may also see pieces of Gladiator and LOTR.
I hope to find how these pieces will be shown differently. And if
you are an Orlando Bloom fan looking to see how far his acting can go,
this will be different.
