One of the funny scenes in
this movie includes the restaurant scene where Pierce Brosnan chokes on the piece of shrimp. Thanks to Mrs. Doubtfire
sprinkling pepper on Brosnan's
plate. Robin Williams hurries over to do the Heimlich maneuver to
save Stu's life and Brosnan
does a great job of looking like he really is choking!
Also, in this same scene,
Sally Field's expression when she finds out Mrs. Doubtfire is her
ex-husband, is excellently done.
Another main scene with
Brosnan includes the pool scene where he is shown doing a triple flip
from the diving board. It is clear it actually is Pierce Brosnan doing the flips and he shows his talent very well. This
is testament to the fact that he lives in Malibu where there are many,
sunny days to practice his dive. So the movie does well to use one
of Brosnan's many
talents.
