movie, Quest For Camelot, 1998, Pierce Brosnan is the voice of
King Arthur.
Brosnan would
make a good King Arthur not only in animation but also in a drama.
Listening to his voice without the “visual” of his good looks
makes you realize of his distinct voice.
It’s a kind, soft, gentle, loving kind of voice.
When you hear it, you know it’s Brosnan's voice.
It has an “ancestral” tone to it, as if it belonged to a wise
man hundreds of years ago.
It would be hard to
imagine his voice dubbing over the voice of Lord Ruber, the bad knight.
Of course, Pierce Brosnan can do a “Lord Ruber” voice if
needed, but his voice belongs better with the wise voice of King Arthur.
Brosnan's scenes are
brief but necessary. Also, this film introduces the fact that a
female can also become a knight of the Round Table.
