you start listening to Gaslight, their early CD, to Bastard Life
or Clarity, their next CD and then next to Other Ways of Speaking,
where by this time, you see more examples of why you appreciated their
music in the first place.
Even my four-year-old son
has had the same experience. At first, when I played Other Ways
of Speaking, he didn't say anything and seemed to tolerate that Mom
kept playing the same songs. And then finally, the other day, he
requested that I play track 2, "Never Be Alone Again" over and
over again because he wanted to listen to the song that apparently had
grown on him, but unfortunately, we had reached our destination and I had
to turn off the ignition.
