When
you read headlines of where the United States government is going—the russell crowe arrest news is actually quite
lame compared to the rest. I
read the article of Russell’s arrest on USA Today, June 6, 2005
issue enroute to one of the biggest escape of them all, Walt Disney World,
Orlando. There was a picture of Russell in handcuffs and a much
shorter policewoman holding him.
This event was talked
about, of course, in all the late night shows, soon after--including David
Letterman and Conan O'Brien while Crowe was a guest.
A good thing after all
this? Hearing Crowe sing the song he sang while in jail. Give
Crowe a chance--he has a tender way of singing.
