Pictures of Aragorn
and Arwen
Here
is that wonderful scene where Aragorn must face the weakness of his
ancestor, Isildur, after he picks up the broken sword and puts it back
where it is kept. Arwen, in the background, tries to reassure
him. The painting in the background is a great backdrop for the
scene. Notice two images holding swords in their hands.
The second picture is a
great close-up of Viggo Mortensen and how his face, eye expression, and
inner world are shown here. Mortensen and Liv Tyler must be commended
for making their intimate scenes work. There are many instances
where Mortensen's scenes show his ability to act, to bring out the inner
world of his character--through himself.
