Mortensen as frank hopkins in costume from beginning scenes in
movie.
I started researching information on Frank
T. Hopkins in April 2003 because of Viggo Mortensen's Hidalgo
movie after LOTR. At that time, there were no books
available on him except I did find the information at the Long
Riders Guild website. After a fan emailed and asked where
she can find Hopkins' autobiography, I searched and searched and
still could not find an autobiography on Hopkins. I did
end up at a museum in Wyoming where he is mentioned and directed
the fan to that site hoping she can find out more after calling
the museum and to let me know. Nothing came to fruition
from this.
The date is now April 29, 2004 and
Amazon.com has a book of stories written by Hopkins:
Hidalgo
And Other Stories by Frank T. Hopkins.
