Thank
you so much to Pilar Massaguer for these pictures taken during
Viggo's Hidalgo press conference in Spain.
Thank you also to Pilar for
sharing her experience at the press conference and his meeting
with Viggo--who confirmed his next movie:
"I still can't believe I have met Viggo Mortensen
personally!!!
We were only 6 meters apart and he answered my questions. He talked with his
soft and slow voice. Pity I could ask him all the questions I had prepared,
included yours, but there were many journalists and so I had to pass the
micro on to someone else. The interviews took an hour, then when he got up
most of the journalists tried to approach him (including me) to try to get
an autograph but he was taken away by the security staff to another room
where only the TV channels were admitted. Later on I could see that on TV.
Here I send you three of the pictures a relative who came along with me as
photographer took from Viggo. You can use them in your page if you wish to
and if you need additional information I will be glad to tell you.
He said he was going to work for a new film from a Spanish director based on
a novel character of the time of the "Musketeers" here in Spain called
"Capitan Alatriste". Viggo seems to enjoy roles in action films that include
sword action, horseback riding and historic costumes so he is
supposed to
come back to Spain for the shooting perhaps next summer."
