These poems are from Mortensen's book, Recent Forgeries. You can listen to more viggo mortensen poetry from the CD that is included with the book. Listening to Mortensen recite his poems in a variety of ways is interesting. One thing for sure, hearing his poems read or sang aloud adds another way to appreciate the poems. For example, you can enjoy track 16 from the CD--the enjoyable, easygoing guitar instrumental layered with other sounds. Then track 17 is like the opposite -- indistinguishable words being said only to be ended with the voice mail message that is disconnected.
