two towers pictures

We are all familiar with the two towers pictures below.  

The purpose of the first poster picture is to reinforce a main conflict in The Two Towers.  

Aragorn is to be with Arwen or Eowyn?

The second poster picture features Aragorn and Legolas--two actors in the movie who have definite appeal.  One great scene of the two of them includes when Legolas confronts Aragorn about the futility of Helms Deep and Aragorn says something to the effect "then he will die as one of them."  This is a wonderful scene.

Gimli is also featured and he balances the intensity of the other two characters with his memorable and humorous scenes.
