Whether
his name is spelled correctly--Viggo
Mortensen--or incorrectly--viggio mortensen, viggo morteson, viggo
mortenson--this great actor's name is
truly one-of-a-kind--at least in the movie star business.
This man behind the
character of Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings fits his own name and
in an indirect way, also fits his many characters' names including Eddie
Boone, Walker Jerome, The Chief, and many others, but most notably as
Aragorn.
His newest character is
Frank T. Hopkins in Hidalgo. A trailer for the movie shows
him in the desert with sand blowing in his face and in a tent where he
draws out his knife to defend himself.
These teasers for the movie
once again show another of Mortensen's characters. And this one is
no exception--it fits Mortensen.
