Writers Guild Awards 2004

The date of the show is interesting because I was in Los Angeles attending a pitch fest at the Le Meridien in Beverly Hills.  

Also, one of the speakers, Gary Ross, (Seabiscuit), gave his very helpful thoughts on screenwriting.  He was formally dressed and ready to attend the WGA show because his speech was to end at 3:00 p.m. when the WGA Awards begins with cocktails as the website shows.

If you have the opportunity to attend a pitch fest, I highly recommend it!  It was a great experience!  The producers I met were really nice!
