This
movie leaves any family feeling like they, too, are the “Incredibles,”
not in the sense of super-hero, but in the sense of the everyday living of
taking care of a family.
This entertaining movie
reminds me of James Bond, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Die
Hard. James Bond—the bad
guy at the island. Raiders—the
ball chase scene. Star
Wars—the flying disks whisking between trees. Die Hard—the crashing through the glass window from a tall
skyscraper.
The combination works
and the young boy fan growing up is a nice surprise. The audience may wonder why this little boy is prevalent in the early
scenes and just when you forget about the little boy, he shows up later
and it all makes sense.
