There are many more,
great stars not mentioned here, but as you start writing your
script, how will you approach your writing?
One successful
screenwriter/director/producer, John Hughes, screenwriter for Pretty
in Pink, said he had a picture of Molly Ringwald in front of him as he wrote the
script for his movies with Ringwald as the
star.
If this is your
style, and you know it works for you, then you should go for it.
Or maybe you’d
prefer to take an acting class so that you can write your movie script by keeping in mind
the actor. If you don’t
want to take a class, maybe you can remember those drama classes in high
school? It’s better than
nothing. Basically, another
writing method is by keeping in mind an actor(s) when writing.
But then again, maybe
you can just write for the sake of the craft and not worry about
what’s “commercial, the hot actor, what an agent will take,” --
kind of concerns. Although
these are sometimes the realistic aspects of the business as some
screenwriting fellows have
revealed.
So find a style or
method that works for you.
