 As you start collecting
information on screenwriting, the kind of software you will use is one of
your major decisions. If you want something that can be compatible
with your word processing program and will format automatically, these are
available. If you want something with many, more features, such as
the ability to convert one's file to an Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file, the more
costlier ones include this capability. For instance, Movie Magic
Screenwriter, at the high end of software prices, allows your file to
become converted into a pdf file. If price is an issue and you want
to use the cheaper ones until your script writing becomes recognized, then
you can wait and use the cheaper ones. If price isn't an issue and
you want the many features provided in the more expensive ones, then Movie
Magic and Final Draft is for you. Most of these programs allow you
to test them out first before you make the purchase.
